The Boot Inn nestles in the Eskdale Valley, over looked by Scafell Pike, Harter Fell and Great Gable to name but a few. The village of Boot has to be one the quaintest in the lake district, with its ancient white washed cottages. A 17th century pack horse spans Whilan beck with it's tumbling water falls that provide the water for Cumbria's oldest working water mill which nestles behind the Inn. The Boot Inn dates back to 1578 and is very much a true example of a Cumbrian Inn. The Inn has nine letting rooms providing a base to enjoy the many attractions in the area. The pub offers a wide variety of food, from fine dining in the restaurant or a warming bowl of home made soup by the log fire in the bar. Try a pint of the many award winning cask ales on offer, or enjoy a glass of wine from the extensive selection. Whatever your tastes you will receive a warm welcome at The Boot Inn.
