The Bun Penny occupies a prominent position on the road into Lee on the Solent and is only a short walk from the main street and the beach. Originally a farm house and then a coaching inn, this centuries old building has all the charm and character you would expect from a building of its age. The Bun Penny is now a classic English country pub which benefits from a large patio at the front and an extensive back garden ideal for soaking up the sun whilst in cooler months there are homely real fires and lots of cosy corners inside!

A robust best bitter with a deep ruby red hue obtained from the use of a generous addition of crystal malt. Tasting Notes: This beer balances sweet hedgerow berry notes with a long roasted malt finish and a deep bitterness from the English Pilgrim hops used in the copper and the hopback.
	Otter Bitter	3.6	Otter Brewery
It is a beautifully light and fruity beer with good hoppy bitterness. It leaves a refreshing bitterness which prompts the next gulp. Tasting Notes: The depth of colour in Otter Bitter’s golden brown liquid is reflective of its great condition. Fruit notes and well balanced malty flavours are tinged with a hint of bitterness to make Otter Bitter a Devon beer of distinction.
	Tribute	4.2	St Austell Brewery
Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale. Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event. All told, there is plenty to look forward to for Tribute in the coming year.
