Carpenters Arms

A pub serving food with WiFi in London.

A home-from-home pub in the heart of Fitzrovia
Set just a few steps away from the infectious buzz of Tottenham Court Road, The Carpenter's Arms combines the reassuringly familiar qualities of a trusty local with bags of upbeat personality. Lovingly restored to its former glory, the listed building has been revived with comfy sofas, intimate booths and a popular roof-top beer garden. But the jewel in our crown is the 'granny annex'. Complete with tasselled lampshades and royal memorabilia, it's definitely a unique place to savour a bottle of our favourite tipple: Ridgeview Cavendish, a splendid sparkling wine from Sussex.

Budvar Dark 4.7 Budweiser Budvar

This beer is brewed from three different kinds of barley malts.

Tasting Notes: Dark Declared Best Lager in the World in this year's World Beer Awards, run by Beers of the World magazine, Budweiser Budvar Dark is a retro-beer. This is because it has been designed to come as close as possible to how all Bohemian and Bavarian lagers tasted before bottom fermented golden lager stole the show in the mid nineteenth century. Now, thanks to Budweiser Budvar, the Darkside is moving centre stage again. Enjoying the same brewing cycle as Original, Dark gets its delicious roasted flavour from being brewed from three types of malt; Munich, caramel and roasted.

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced

Pravha 4.0 Staropramen

Pravha was created by the legendary brewers of Staropramen, who were inspired to create a lighter tasting pilsner.
