We can offer an excellent section of real ales, a good choice of wines and a good range of tasty snacks are available. The pub is popular with locals and visitors alike, and has a sporty feel to it, as it has three teams attached to it: a rugby team, a cricket team and a football team.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was the Head Brewer at the time – that’s him on the clip. Cheers George.
