D-Far From The Madding Crowd

A pub in Oxford.

We are a family run, independent free house specialising in the finest real ales and pub meals. We believe the traditional British pub has a fundamental role in its community to serve as a place for socialising, relaxing and enjoying quality products. We are dedicated to real ale, something CAMRA recognised when their members voted us to win the Oxford Pub of the Year award in 2009, 2011 and 2012. As we're free of tie, we source beers from all over the country, delighting our customers with the variety of real ales we offer them. Expanding on this, we host quarterly beer festivals which draw visitors from all over Oxfordshire and the neighbouring counties.
