The John Barleycorn is situated at Goring on Thames in stunning Oxfordshire countryside and witihin a short walk of The River Thames. A warm and friendly welcome is waiting for all that visit us. The bar itself is cosy and serves real ales, draught lager and cider and is complemented with a good selection of wines and spirits. For those who like to eat outside there is an enclosed beer garden with benches. Situated upstairs there is a meeting room that can cater for parties of up to 18.

Brewed in Oxfordshire, using the famous Henley ‘ double-drop ’ fermentation system in Victorian copper fermentation vessels from the orignal Henley brewery.

Tasting Notes: This amber ale has a crystal malt and a well hopped bitterness in taste, which transforms into a bitter-sweet and fruity finish with a good fruit, hop and malt nose.

Brakspear Oxford Gold 4.0 Brakspear

This beer is a perfect partner for fish dishes, shellfish, chicken or salads.
