Bitter Sweet Symphony 6.8

A fan of extreme craft beers, this ale has a vast quantity of malt and hops; the mash tun was be brim full! Rich and full-flavoured; an ale to savour.

Tasting Notes: Caramel tones followed up with balanced hoppiness and a long finish.

Bob Wall 4.2

Cask; Regular. A Best Bitter, chestnut-coloured with a subtle orange bouquet combined with a hint of roast malt.

Tasting Notes: It has a rich and complex malt flavour, with plum fruit qualities, which persist in the mouth and combine with its bitterness to provide a deep and satisfying finish.

Bristol Blonde 3.8

They’ve refined the recipe over the years and this definitive incarnation proved its worth with major awards out of the region’s biggest beer contest of over 260 competing brews two years running and a National award.

Tasting Notes: Citrus aroma full of fresh lemons and spicy zest. The mouth is filled with vanilla malt and left with a long and satisfying bitter finish. An easy-drinking “session beer” with a character, refreshing at any time of year.

Davy Lamp 5.0

A crystal-clear Wheat Ale, rich yellow in colour, brewed with the addition of coriander and orange zest.

Tasting Notes: Coriander adds a delicate hint of spice to the citrus hop aroma and creates a deep and satisfying warmth in this ale’s mildly bitter finish. The tang of orange zest complements the wheat and barley malts’ biscuit and vanilla notes, producing a well-balanced and highly quaffable ale.

Green Shoots 3.5

Light, fresh and clean tasting with biscuity malt and a grassy aroma.

Tasting Notes: Dry-hopped for longer with several handfuls of organic hops added to each cask for a depth of flavour not normally found in a light beer. Excellent for any session.

Pit Head Porter 4.4

A dark reddish-black porter that draws you in with a tempting aroma combining roast malt with classic English hops.

Tasting Notes: Some initial sweetness gives way to a mouthful of berry fruit and roast malt flavours and a well-rounded bitter finish.

Tremendous Delicious 4.2

Made with all-British malt and hops. The name was chosen by a customer and we started from there! We’ve brewed a bitter that is distinctively different. Visually appealing and with an exceptionally well-balanced flavour. Easy drinking need not mean bland. It uses a careful blend of five grains including Maris Otter (the finest British base malt) with complexity and body added by Caramalt. Classic Fuggles hops are supplemented by aromatic Bramling Cross hops.
