The Devon is a lively and popular community pub, catering for all ages. Come in and enjoy our lovely garden and covered external area. The Devon has regular quiz nights and shows live sport on its many big screens and TV's. We pride ourselves in providing great food and excellent service. Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. John Smith’s Extra Smooth was launched in 1993 and is now the nation's number 1 ale. Tasting Notes: The boffins say it has a distinct cereal character, with malty, caramel notes being complemented by some fruitiness. But we just think it’s a right good pint.
