Apple & Vanilla 4.0

A blended fresh apple juice with a Belgian style wheat beer to create a refreshing, slightly carbonated, Apple & Vanilla beer.

Tasting Notes: The fresh apple aroma, combined with a hint of herbs and vanilla helps create a unique taste.

Black Dog 3.6

An award-winning cask conditioned traditional dark mild. Well balanced malt and hops gives a pleasant aroma and taste, with splendid roasted bitter flavours.

Tasting Notes: Black Dog is a traditional dark mild at 3.6%ABV. It has many CAMRA awards to its name and is a well-known brand in the free-trade. The beer is well balanced with a full roast flavour

Black Dog 3.6

Cambridge Bitter 3.8

Malty and fruity aroma with a satisfying flavour and bitter finish, Cambridge Bitter is the main brand beer at an ABV of 3.8%.

Tasting Notes: A mild brown bitter with a good balance of malt and hop character give a pleasing session drink. The finest pale ale malt (made from Maris Otter barley) is blended with torrified wheat, invert sugar and a small amount of roast barley, to ensure consistent colour.

Cambridge Bitter 3.8

Malty and fruity aroma with a satisfying flavour and bitter finish, Cambridge Bitter is the main brand beer at an ABV of 3.8%.

Cambridge IPA 4.7

A classic English Ale, a blend of Pale Ale, Crystal and amber malts gives a smooth beer with a full malty flavour, with hints of dry biscuit.

Tasting Notes: The hops are a blend of 4 English varieties and the bitterness is balanced by malt fruity notes. A long finish is complimented by the hop aroma which has a hint of spice.

Cambridge IPA Dark 4.7

A modern style of IPA with added roast character and prominent fruity hop nose.

Tasting Notes: Based on our English style IPA, a blend of Pale Ale, Crystal and amber malts gives a smooth beer, with distinctive dark malt flavours from additional use of roast barley and coloured malts.

Cherry Wheat 3.6

A Belgian style wheat beer that has been blended with Cherry and Raspberry to create a uniquely refreshing, slightly carbonated Cherry Beer.

Tasting Notes: Finest pale Maris Otter malt has been blended with wheat malt and rye crystal to provide a full flavoured beer. The lavish use of late hop dominates the malt flavour and results in a satisfying pint.

Coolship Blonde 6.0

Elgood’s Coolship Sour Ale. Brewed using traditional methods & original brewing equipment. Spontaneous fermentation is initiated on our unique double coolships.

Tasting Notes: A long period of fermentation and maturation in special tanks enables naturally occurring wild yeasts, combined with oak, to create its sharp fruity flavour. A true sour English Ale.

Coolship Fruit 5.0

Elgood’s Coolship Sour Ale at 5% ABV. Brewed using traditional methods & original brewing equipment. Spontaneous fermentation is initiated on our unique double coolships.

Tasting Notes: This unique English style sour beer, brewed in the artisanal manner at North Brink Brewery has been blended with Raspberry and a hint of Blackberry. The beer has a purple colour and a sparkling finish. The sweetness and rich berry flavour is off-set by the smooth sourness of the Coolship Ale, the hedgerow fruit aroma is prominent and with soft fruity tones.

Cunning Stunts 3.9

Light brown with tropical hop flavours, refreshing aftertaste and good mouthfeel.

Tasting Notes: 

Double Swan 4.5

The beer is a very pale ale, brewed using Pale ale malt only. The hops used are English Fuggles, Progress and Goldings, and an American hop Willamette.

Tasting Notes: The beer has a floral aroma, refreshing to the taste with good bitterness and a slightly sweet mouthfeel

English Blonde 8.7

A clean fruity strong pale ale, fresh hop notes compliment the sweetness of this high strength ale

Tasting Notes: A blend of Pilsner, Pale Ale and Amber malts gives a powerful refreshing ale with a 'hoppy' honey aroma.

English Red 8.7

A full malty red ale, rich raisin and fruity notes complimented by the English hop aroma and bitterness

Tasting Notes: A blend of Pale Ale, Crystal and Roast Barley malts gives a warm fruity Red/Amber ale with a rich malt aroma.

Golden Newt 4.1

Pale in colour with prominent hoppy palate and full flavoured finish, Golden Newt is a pale session bitter of 4.1% ABV.

Tasting Notes: The beer has a prominent hop character; a blend of Fuggles, Goldings and Cascade has been used in the recipe to bring the delicate hop flavour and aroma to the fore. The use of Cascade gives a pleasing citrus aroma.

Plum Porter 4.5

A dark rich porter, with a note of roast malt and a fresh fruit aroma, with plum flavours which enhance the dark full flavour.

Tasting Notes: 

Scotch Ale 9.0

Our traditional Scotch Ale boasts a copper/deep amber colour with a rich malt palate and subdued hop notes in the nish.

Tasting Notes: We have used Pale Ale Malt, Crystal Malt and Invert Sugar for a full, slightly fruity malt palate. This is balanced by Challenger hops.

Talon Stout 6.6

A rich full flavour brewed with roasted malt with a good hop bitterness. The recipe uses Pale Ale, Amber, Chocolate and Patent Malts.

Tasting Notes: Roasted, malty, bitter

Thin Ice 4.7

This ruby coloured beer had a full sweet roast malt aroma leading to a fine balance between the malt flavours and hoppiness on the palate.

Tasting Notes: Sweet, roast, malty

Warrior 5.5

Warrior is a truly traditional style English Bitter Ale at 5.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes: A blend of finest Pale Ale, Amber and Crystal malt is used for the fruity malty flavour and generous portions of English Hop varieties (Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles) give a well developed hop character.
