A pub partially opened out in a modern style, the local boasts a function suite. A regular bus service stops at the end of Sparth Road 300 yards from the pub. There are up to six great real ales available with at least two normally being from local breweries. The beers on offer are usually new to the pub so this guarantees variety. Examples of breweries that you might find include Newby Wyke, Naylors and Bowness bay. The pub also hosts four beer festivals a year.
