This beer will replace Martyr as the ale for St. Georges Day and will only be available in the lead up to the celebration.
Tasting Notes:
Brewed once a year in the autumn and available on a first come first served basis. A rich fruity beer.
An amber coloured malty ale. Originally brewed as the festival ale for Kettering''s Wicksteed Park in 2009.
Tasting Notes: A strong malty taste with a distinct biscuit flavour brewed rarely.
A full bodied old style strong ale.
Tasting Notes: Rich complex malt flavours with a pleasant rounded sweet finish.
A light summer ale deceptively full bodied for it''s low A.B.V. Dry, refreshing bitterness.
A red/brown bitter brewed for the Red Lion in Broughton. This woody/nutty ale with it''s tangy bitterness has become a regular.
Martyr is a summer ale originally brewed for St. Georges Day. It has remained a firm favourite and still brewed occasionally.
Tasting Notes: Amber coloured ale with carmel flavours and a well rounded bittered to finish.
A full bodied stout with dark smoky malt flavours.
Tasting Notes: A subtle taste of coffee and chocolate gives this dark ale a pleasant bitter finish.
Mild by name but not by nature. A malty dark ale with a twist of Leatherwood Honey brewed seasonally and on rare occasions for beer festivals.
This ale was originally brewed for the Proclamation at Rothwell (Northamptonshire) and was also served at the Rothwell Hotel under the name ''Old Vicarage Ale''.
Tasting Notes: A straw coloured light ale with a dry, yet refreshing finish and a hint of blackcurrant. Brewed all year round.
Brewed for Peterborough Beer Festival 2011. Beata, Northdown and Fuggles hops give this ale quite a distinctive dry bitterness with a subtle almond flavour.
A popular session ale and award winner for Best in Bitter at the Delapre Abbey beer festival in 2010 and 2011. Served at the Alexandra Arms under the name ''''Father Nip''''.
Tasting Notes: Full bodied bitter, mahogany in colour with nutty caramel flavours and a warm spicy finish.
