Our name dates back to 1871, when the pub was owned by whisky maker Archibald Lauder. Back then it had seven bars including a secret one upstairs, and even a barber's shop downstairs. These days we don't offer a haircut for a penny, but we do serve up a cracking pint of cask ale and plenty of tasty pub-food - all at great prices.
