Your hosts James and Irene and our team welcome you to the Old Thatched Inn website, where we hope you will find all the information you require, failing which we would kindly suggest you telephone us for an informal chat.

A warm welcome awaits you at the 'Thatch' which has been an established Inn in since the 16th century, although it was originally named the Crown Inn.

We offer a wide variety of meals to suit all tastes, served in a light and airy environment, with a warm welcome to all, from our friendly, first class team of staff.

Well behaved children are welcome within the dining and games area, and dogs are welcome within the bar/games area.

There is a large off road car park to the rear of the building, with enough space for motor-homes to have an overnight stay.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day.
