A real country pub built in 1828 on the ancient Roman road of Icknield Street, The Peacock Inn is a haven for walkers, ramblers and cyclists exploring North Worcestershire, yet less than 10 miles south of bustling central Birmingham. The 37 mile long North Worcestershire Path passes directly opposite The Peacock at Forhill Picnic Place, taking in the beautiful rural Worcestershire landscape, river valleys and dense woodland on the way to the Georgian riverside town of Bewdley, home of the Severn Valley Railway.
