The Post Office Vaults is an independent freehouse located in the heart of Birmingham and only a 2 minute walk from New Street Station. We have a range of 8 perfectly kept real ales. Salopian Oracle and Hobson’s Mild are the regulars, along with 6 ever changing guest beers from micro-breweries around the country. We are, however, renowned for our huge range of foreign bottled beers which currently stands at 345. When we opened in December 2011 we had a range of 50 bottled beers but have regularly increased this to meet demand. We now have, by far, the largest range in Birmingham and one of the largest in the country.

Oyster Stout 4.5 Marstons

English Aroma Hops, Fuggles and Goldings are added for their fruity, floral and spicy contribution to the taste with the majority of the bitterness coming from the roasted malts. The final result is a rich, dark and exceptionally creamy smooth stout.

Our Champion Mild has a smooth character and despite being only 3.2% abv it's packed full of flavour.

Tasting Notes: Our Champion Mild has a smooth character and taste notes of chocolate malt, which gives this beer plenty of flavour and belies its strength. A British classic crafted to our brewers special recipe makes this a nutty mild.
