Welcome to the Prince Rupert, part of the KNEAD family since 2010 and originally built in 1452. Not only does the Prince Rupert look the part, it’s also on the Newark Civil War Trail, which means it genuinely is full of history! Tucked away conveniently on Stodman Street, between the castle and the fabulous market square, The Prince Rupert is one of Newark’s most characterful pubs (if we do say so ourselves!). We’re the perfect spot for a bite to eat or simply a chilled out pint. We even have popular live music events, which take place in our music venue tucked away upstairs with its very own bar. The venue is even available for private hire!
