A commanding IPA balancing bitterness, sweetness and a grapefruit finish An IPA to preside with you and your friends at the dinner table. King Bleddyn, most merciful of all welsh kings. Lived and ruled until 1075 and the number of our original gravity.
Tasting Notes: Pale – Balance – Grapefruit
With the origins of its name shrouded in mystery, Brains SA has become an essential part of every Welsh celebration since it was first brewed in 1958. It has a fruity nose, a rich malty flavour and a satisfying spirit-like finish.
Tasting Notes: Our renowned bitter is copper coloured and has a nutty richness derived from Pale and Crystal malts and three hops; Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles.
Brewed in Oxfordshire, using the famous Henley ‘ double-drop ’ fermentation system in Victorian copper fermentation vessels from the orignal Henley brewery.
Tasting Notes: This amber ale has a crystal malt and a well hopped bitterness in taste, which transforms into a bitter-sweet and fruity finish with a good fruit, hop and malt nose.
