The Ancient Briton pub, a warm Welsh Welcome awaits inside
The Ancient Briton pub is a well established and much loved local pub, ideally situated on the beautifully scenic A4067 road to Brecon.
We’re proud to welcome Hikers, Bikers, Walkers and Cavers (amongst many others) to our traditional inn, in the Brecon Beacons national park. You can find us just a few short miles from the Famous Dan-yr-Ogof show caves and the equally well known Craig-y-Nos Castle – former home of Victorian opera singer Adelina Patti.
We have ample, safe car parking off the main road and extensive grounds encompassing beer gardens and camping meadows. We’re extending our camping facilities even as we write, so keep coming back – or email us for more details as we hope to add permanent pitches, static caravans and log cabins to our accommodation range in future. We also have a small sheltered outside area for those guests who smoke, and it’s heated in winter to retain a little comfort.
