Double Maxim 4.7 Maxim Brewery

Double Maxim was first brewed in 1901 and was initially called Maxim Ale. It was created to celebrate the return of the Maxim Gun detachment from the Boer War.

Tasting Notes: This is a fine example of a North East brown ale. It is a good balance of ripe grain and spicy hops, with a long bittersweet finish. It is now the only true brown ale still brewed in the North East.
Swedish Blonde 4.2 Maxim Brewery

This smooth blonde beer is very light in colour and uses cascade and first gold hops to give refreshing hoppy and complex grapefruit flavours on the palate.

Tasting Notes: Refreshing, hoppy, grapefruit
