The Greyhound

A pub serving food and a garden in Diss.

The Greyhound underwent a major refurbishment in 2012 a major which included an outstanding extension, providing a pool room with vaulted ceiling and French doors opening onto the patio. Along with a new kitchen and refurbishment of the lounge bar The Greyhound has become the first choice for people wanting quality traditional food, in a smart pub with a welcoming atmosphere.

Charter 3.6 Lacons Brewery Ltd

Lacons Charter is a copper best bitter based on the recipe for Charter Ale, first brewed in 1958 to celebrate the 750th anniversary of the granting of a Charter making Great Yarmouth a Market Town.

Tasting Notes: Charter has malty undertones with delicate flavours of soft fruit and berries. The finish is long and dry.

Heritage Ernest Hop Pale Ale 5.0 Greene King PLC

With distinct flavours and aroma qualities, Ernest Pale Ale is quite different to that of traditional English hop varities. Considered ‘New-World’ in style, it has been likened more to wild fruit-centric US varieties.

Tasting Notes:

Wherry 3.8 Woodforde's Brewery
