The Grouse has recently had a complete refurbishment both front of house and in our kitchen. Our new menus include many old favourites, including tipsy chicken, Karl’s famous steak pie, sticky toffee pudding and our homemade jam roly-poly & custard as well as exciting new British & Continental dishes thrown in there for good measure!

A well-balanced, genuine Yorkshire Bitter, with a full measure of maltiness and hoppy aroma – Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker – on both sides of the Pennines. Tasting Notes: Scent of citrus, fruit and spicy hoppy aroma. Tastes of roasted malt with a bitter finish.
	Golden Best	3.4	Timothy Taylor's Brewery
The last of the true Pennine light milds. A crisp, amber coloured beer that makes a refreshing session ale. The smooth and creamy flavour makes it a popular choice close to the brewery, and increasingly in destination pubs across the country. Tasting Notes: A light mild with a delicate balance of subtle flavours. An easy drinking beer with light floral notes and a smooth, creamy body.
	Landlord	4.3	Timothy Taylor's Brewery
The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.
	Landlord Dark	4.3	Timothy Taylor's Brewery
Landlord Dark originates from the multi award-winning Landlord Pale Ale but brewed with caramelised sugars to give a rich yet light and drinkable dark ale. This perfectly balanced mellow dark beer has body and depth. It has a fruity, toasted aroma with hints of chocolate, citrus and roasted malts on the tongue. A darker shade of pale! Tasting Notes: Mild chocolate and roasty malts, with a bit of citrus. Light but very pleasant and well balanced.
