The Hare and Hounds sits within the rural picturesque village of Layer Breton.
The pub was built in 1662 and has a fantastic reputation for delicious food and a warm and welcoming environment.
It's come a long way since then with one of the barn outbuilding having been converted into 2 stylish Lodges it now provides en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation. The meadow which overlooks the glorious Layer Breton Heath has also been adapted and shaped to provide superb camping facilities and is also a fabulous spot for outdoor events and functions.
The Hare & Hounds has a relaxed yet chic Restaurant that is renowned for it's fine dining experience and because of the pub's great location there is lots to do and see.
