Drink % Brewery
Porth Neigwl 4.2 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

IPA, light and tasty.

Tasting Notes: This was brewed especially for the Bronze Age Beer festival in 2014. It is a light, tasty beer – gorse flowers are used as well as hops in the brewing process to celebrate a 3,500 brewing trough that was found beneath the sand and clay on Porth Neigwl beach.

Heineken 5.0 Heineken

Brewing beer is a 100% natural process. Heineken beer is made from the purest ingredients.

Tasting Notes: The resin from the female hop flower cones is used to help balance the sweetness of the barley with a refreshing bitterness.

Seithenyn 4.2 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

A refreshing golden beer, with a continental character and delicious flavours

Tasting Notes: Seithenyn was the keeper of the sluice gates in the fertile netherlands of Cantre’r Gwaelod between Llyn and Ceredigion. He was also a drunkard and got very merry at the king’s daughter’s wedding one day. He neglected the sea-defences, a storm came in from the west and Cantre’r Gwaelod was drowned, creating Bae Ceredigion.

Foster's 3.7 Heineken

Foster's is the ultimate ice-cold refreshment. Its balance of subtle fruitiness and vanilla is ideal for the sweeter-toothed lager lover. The perfect session beer to enjoy with mates.

Tasting Notes: A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability.

Birra Moretti 4.6 Heineken

The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note.

Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends

John Smiths Extra Smooth 3.6 John Smith's Brewery

John Smith’s Extra Smooth was launched in 1993 and is now the nation's number 1 ale.

Tasting Notes: The boffins say it has a distinct cereal character, with malty, caramel notes being complemented by some fruitiness. But we just think it’s a right good pint.

Guinness Extra Cold 4.2 Guinness

Black as the night with a creamy tan head with a coffee and mild roasted aroma and flavour. Medium (light) bodied and a soft carbonation, a real mellow sweetness.

Tasting Notes:

Y Brawd Houdini 4.0 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

A summer ale, citric and flowery.

Tasting Notes: Meic Stevens, the troubadour from Solfach in Pembrokeshire, composed a summery and popular song called ‘Y Brawd Houdini’. The sun is shining through its verses – ‘how about a bottle of ale?’! Meic has held numerous gigs and attended many festivals in Llŷn, and is an evergreen favourite with all generations. The western seas can always be heard in the distance in his wonderful collection of songs. He lived in Llithfaen for a while, and many of his band come from this area. This is our tribute to Meic the magician – now 70 years old. ‘Iechyd da, Meic’ – many thanks, and rock on.

Cwrw Glyndŵr 4.0 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

Smooth Golden Ale

Tasting Notes: Glyndŵr is the great Welsh hero – his dream of freedom laid the foundations of a modern Wales. Raise a glass to him with this legendary golden ale! Raise a glass to him with this legendary golden ale!

Hobgoblin - Ruby Beer 4.5 Wychwood Brewery

Traditional Ruby Beer. Hobgoblin is a blend of smooth rich flavours from chocolate and crystal malts, combined with a refreshing bitterness from English Fuggles hops and a dash of citrus aroma from Styrian Goldings.

Tasting Notes:

Wainwright 4.1 Wainwright

An exquisitely, golden ale, named after Alfred Wainwright, the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn.

Tasting Notes: Wainwright is a refreshing golden ale with subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malts and the special mix of hops give a delicate citrus fruit overtone. Voted World’s Best Golden Ale at the World Beer Awards.

Cwrw Mimosa 4.2 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

Seasonal

Tasting Notes:

Brenin Enlli 4.0 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

This is a classic hoppy bitter, with a copper body and a good head on it.

Tasting Notes: The name derives from Ynys Enlli – Bardsey, at the western tip of Llyn [Brenin Enlli = Bardsey King]. A hundred years ago, there was a 200-strong community of fishermen and crofters on the island and as is customary on many islands, they elected their own ‘king’. The last king was Love Pritchard, here seen wearing the crown of the island.

Cochyn 4.5 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

A Legendary Ruby Ale.

Tasting Notes: There is a skull and crossbones image on a gravestone in Edern, Llŷn. Many caves bear the names of local pirates across the headland and the islands of St Tudwal, and Bardsey in particular, were buccaneers’ nests. Henry Morgan himself stayed at Tŷ Mawr, Abersoch on route from his Caribbeean adventures. Black Bart from Pembrokeshire was the first to fly the ‘official’ pirate flag. Previously they flew a red flag, and because he always wore smart clothes and a red jacket, the French nick-name for Bart was ‘le jolie rouge’ – the ‘Pretty Red One’ [hence ‘Jolly Roger’]

Cracar 4.3 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

Seasonal

Tasting Notes:

Crys Coch 4.2 Cwrw Llyn Brewery

Seasonal

Tasting Notes:

Inch's 4.5 Heineken

Inch's believe that cider making is about all the little things, that finishing touch of care or that extra moment of attention. Not going that extra mile, but going that extra Inch.

Tasting Notes:

Strongbow 4.5 Heineken

Strongbow gets its distinctive flavour and cut-through refreshment through the unique blends of bittersweet British cider apples from our Herefordshire orchards.

Tasting Notes: The cider is made from a blend of bittersweet cider and culinary apples making it a well-rounded, balanced cider with a good mix of fresh apples and cidery flavour

Thatchers Dry Cider 4.8 Thatchers Cider

A well crafted medium dry cider has a smooth, refreshing appley taste and a bright sparkle.
