The Marton Arms country inn is set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park in the picturesque small hamlet of Thornton in Lonsdale on the outskirts of the village of Ingleton.

The Marton Arms country Inn is steeped in local history dating back to 1679. Our charming inn is right opposite St.Oswalds church which is famed for Arthur Conan Doyle (author of Sherlock Holmes) who married his first wife here.
The Marton Arms country inn is just a 10 minute walk from the Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton, we have a lovely sheltered beer garden overlooking open country views, there is also an outside terrace where you can eat al-fresco or sit and enjoy those lovely summer evenings with a refreshing drink. Inside the Marton Arms country inn we have a wide range of beers, wines and spirits, on colder evenings we light the log fire for a cosy evening.
