Step in to discover a traditional pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be, with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.
History oozes from the great beams and ancient brickwork of the Old Thameside Inn, once an old spice warehouse. Behind our pub are the remains of Winchester Palace, which once belonged to Cardinal Wolsey. The cobbled road behind the pub has associations with the original Clink prison and next to us is a full scale replica of Sir Francis Drake's famous ship - the Golden Hind.
The Old Thameside Inn is one of many rare gems in the Nicholson's collection of great British pubs, reputed for their distinctive buildings, intriguing history and vibrant atmosphere.
