The Packhorse Inn

A pub serving food in Moulton.

Revitalised and reopened in October 2013, The Packhorse Inn was also renamed to reflect the adjacent medieval bridge across the River Kennett. The location is a rural West Suffolk village just two and a half miles from Newmarket, the historic home of horse racing, and part of the ancient route from Bury St Edmunds to Cambridge. This stylish Suffolk inn, which defies pigeon-holing into the classification of pub, hotel or restaurant, but achieves a blended definition of all three at their very best, offers 8 individually designed en suite bedrooms, a large dining and bar area and the Club Room for business meetings and private celebrations.
