The Quayside Bar is part of the JD Wetherspoon chain. We are located on the busy riverside of Newcastle's Quayside.

We have three bars over two floors to choose from.. with a new 4th outdoor bar coming soon for the summer. Selling a hudge selection of global and local beers, ales and wines and of course plenty of cocktails! Our brand new food menu is available from 8am till 11pm all day everyday.

Great service, atmosphere and music is guaranteed. We provide excellent value for money around as well as the biggest, busiest beer garden in Newcastle!

Old Empire IPA 5.7 Marstons

A memorable and deceptively easy-drinking IPA. This is an authentic recreation of the beer style created for, and enjoyed throughout, the Empire.

Tasting Notes: Goldings, Fuggles and American Cascade hops combine to give a crisp, citrus hop aroma, with a balanced, bittersweet finish.
Wolf 5.5 Allendale Brewery

Deep red and full bodied. Rich and complex malts provide depth, complimented by a hedgerow berry aroma.

Tasting Notes: Very appealing colour. Well roasted Viennese malts providing caramel notes on the nose and going through on the palate. Toasted buttery croissant, blackcurranty fruit on the finish.
