The Red Lion

A pub serving food in Canterbury.

This beautiful, refurbished country pub had seen better days.
After being completely gutted by fire some years ago, but has very cleverly been brought back to life to function as the perfect setting with a fantastic atmosphere. With a large south facing beer garden you can enjoy the sunshine all day long.
From your seats by the window ,you can view the charming high street guarded proudly by the historic St. Peters church.
The Red Lion Inn is definitely a classy and sophisticated bolt hole, boasting homemade food and local produce.
You can certainly count on having a fantastic time.

Ghost Ship 4.5 Adnams

Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, the Bell at Walberswick. It's a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone.

Tasting Notes: This is a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. Brewed with a selection of malts – Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara – Adnams use Citra and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours

London Pride 4.1 Fuller's Brewery

In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.

Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

Sussex Best Bitter 4.0 Harvey's Brewery

Our most famous and popular brand - it makes up over 90% of our total brewing capacity. Winner of the Champion Best Bitter of Britain title at CAMRA's Great British Beers Festival in 2005 and 2006. First brewed as recently as 1955.

Tasting Notes: A superbly balanced session bitter with a prominent hop character.
