The Shipwrights was built in 1884 and is now a Grade 2 listed building with an original tiled mural of the 'Shipwrights' at work. The pub has been deliberately kept traditional in style retaining the rare central island bar offering a wide range of continental lagers and up to 6 real ales which are Cask Marque quality assured.

The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness.
