The Star is a stylish pub and restaurant on the border between the lively villages of Heath and Reach and Leighton Buzzard.

Our buzzing bar and restaurant are the perfect locations to socialize over a bottle of wine or a pint of well kept cask ale. Whatever your reason for visiting, you will always be greeted with a warm welcome from a friendly face.

Our classic, golden Amstel Beer, with its very distinctive and mildly bitter taste, has over the years become well known beyond the borders of its native country. Tasting Notes:
	Best Bitter	3.8	Black Sheep Brewery Plc
The original stalwart of the Black Sheep range. First brewed in 1992, Best Bitter is the iconic Yorkshire Bitter devised and created to offer beer with real flavour and bite. A different breed Tasting Notes: Brewed with whole flower English hops, Best Bitter packs a genuine spiky bitterness with big character. Challenger, Goldings and Fuggle hops blend to create a beautiful aroma and flavour with kicks of grassy freshness and a big peppery punch. The Maris Otter malt offers a light sweetness that balances against those big bitter characters.
	Birra Moretti	4.6	Heineken
The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note. Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends

Carlsberg is a Pilsner style lager originating from Copenhagen, Denmark. Carlsberg is light, easy drinking and refreshing. The all malt recipe and Carlsberg yeast strain gives the balance between body and depth of flavour and a clean refreshing palate. Tasting Notes: Carlsberg is a pale blonde Danish pilsner style lager, with a flowery subtle aroma, and hoppy fruity flavours with a soft lingering finish
	Guinness Extra Cold	4.2	Guinness
Black as the night with a creamy tan head with a coffee and mild roasted aroma and flavour. Medium (light) bodied and a soft carbonation, a real mellow sweetness. Tasting Notes:

Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish. Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness.
