The Theydon Oak is Nestled in the heart of picturesque Epping Forest beside the ancient village of Coopersale. A grade II listed building, it has been standing for over four centuries. Renowned far and wide for fine beers, excellent home cooked food and for an atmosphere which has to be experienced to be fully appreciated.

This premium cask ale has a strong following throughout the country. Courage Directors was originally brewed exclusively for the Directors of the Alton brewery, but following public demand, the beer was made available to the public.

Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, the Bell at Walberswick.It's a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone.

Tasting Notes: This is a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. Brewed with a selection of malts – Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara – Adnams use Citra and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours
