White Lion is a very friendly and welcoming award winning cask ale pub serving a choice of up to 9 real ales and fantastic home made food. Located on the edge of Disley village, close to the Peak District, we host 2 beer festivals a year - there's something for everyone. The pub also serve the best home made Pies for miles around. We are god friendly, open fire, close to railway station and transport routes with a car park to the rear - just look for the Zebra on the sign.

Locally produced, currently, a top seller, this very pale brilliant blonde beer has citrus and summer fruit aromas making it an extremely refreshing ale.

Tasting Notes: Sheffield Best Brewed 2011 at Sheffield's 37th Steel City Beer & Cider Festival Highly Commended at the Yorkshire Post and Harvey Nichols Taste Awards 2007. GOLD Award Winner in the Speciality Beers category at the 2007 SIBA North Regional Beer Competition.

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.

Mad Goose (4.2% ABV) is a zesty pale ale with a smooth and citrusy finish.

Tasting Notes: Brewed with English Maris Otter, Caragold and Wheat malts, with Hallertau Northern Brewer bittering hops and Cascade and Willamette aroma hops. Winner of five awards.
