We are thrilled to have opened our fifth restaurant in the South West region, The Anchor at Ham Green. The popular pub, which is just a short detour from the M5 motorway, has undergone a major refurbishment to convert it into one of our sophisticated Mezze Restaurants. We opened at the start of May and are already in demand.

The facade of the Anchor has been completely transformed with a modern makeover to inject a new lease of life into the area, which has been welcomed by locals and visitors alike.

Mezze spokesman Alex Tryfonos said: “We believe that pubs are the central hub of communities and through our continued investment we are helping to ensure they continue to thrive as the focal point of small towns.”

As well as a complete overhaul to the interior and exterior of the building, we have added glass double doors from the former skittle alley which lead into the newly transformed rear Mediteranean style gardens for Al Fresco dining where customers can enjoy eating or drinking while taking in the stunning views. After dark the garden is transformed with undercover heaters and atmospheric lighting to create a spectacular setting to enjoy a relaxed dining experience under the starlit skies.

Choose from over 50 mouth-watering Mezze dishes, ranging from traditional Greek and Spanish themed tapas to Indian, Chinese, Moroccan and Mexican dishes, or full A La Carte menu. All of our delicious meals are created by our head chefs who have gained experience at some of the top restaurants in the South West including Browns, Severn Shed, Aqua, Melbournes and Redcliffs.

The Anchor is also an ideal base from which to explore the heritage city of Bristol, the Portishead Marina or nearby attractions including Noah’s Ak Zoo Farm, Bristol Zoo, The SS Great Britain, to name but a few.
