A dog friendly pub serving food in Kendal.

Originally a farm house which dates from the turn of the century, this charming pub and restaurant serves traditional home cooked food using local fresh ingredients. Our refurbishment is now complete so come and see our new look. We offer an extensive bistro style menu including daily specials, kids meals, half portions and also cater for dietry requirments. Whether your looking for real ales, draught beers or wines, The Station Inn has it all with tasty food to boot! The Station Inn also boasts accommodation of a high standard. We have 4 deluxe double bedrooms and 3 deluxe family bedrooms. All are en suite, decorated to a high standard and have tea/coffee making facilities, t.v. and hairdryers. All rooms are non smoking and we are sorry but pets are not allowed. All prices include a full English breakfast which uses local produce where possible. We also host events such as weddings, dog shows, chairty events and have a HUGE kids play area with swings, slides, climbing frames, crazy golf, alpacas and outside seating for those hot summers days. If it’s a relaxing drink or a romantic meal or a christening or wedding, The Station Inn will cater to meet your every need. We also have a camp site which has 10 pitches for tents and hard standing for 5 caravans. We are also very popular with cyclists doing the coast to coast route, so if your cycling near by, pop in for a refreshment and for the hikers we are right opposite the Helm.
