The Woodside Inn

A pub serving food in Chesterfield.

The Woodside has been one of Chesterfield's best known pubs for many years. It has had a reputation for great style, food and drink. In the past five years the pub has undergone two refurbishments which have increased it's size and produced a modern drinking and eating establishment. The appearance has been carefully thought out to retain the traditional pub features whilst providing a fresh, contemporary appearance... A place worth travelling to for all the family! Large parties and family celebrations are most welcome a the Woodside and we are able to cater for any special requirements to make your event memorable.

Best Bitter 3.8 Black Sheep Brewery Plc

The original stalwart of the Black Sheep range. First brewed in 1992, Best Bitter is the iconic Yorkshire Bitter devised and created to offer beer with real flavour and bite. A different breed

Tasting Notes: Brewed with whole flower English hops, Best Bitter packs a genuine spiky bitterness with big character. Challenger, Goldings and Fuggle hops blend to create a beautiful aroma and flavour with kicks of grassy freshness and a big peppery punch. The Maris Otter malt offers a light sweetness that balances against those big bitter characters.

Farmers Blonde 4.0 Bradfield Brewery

Locally produced, currently, a top seller, this very pale brilliant blonde beer has citrus and summer fruit aromas making it an extremely refreshing ale.

Tasting Notes: Sheffield Best Brewed 2011 at Sheffield's 37th Steel City Beer & Cider Festival Highly Commended at the Yorkshire Post and Harvey Nichols Taste Awards 2007. GOLD Award Winner in the Speciality Beers category at the 2007 SIBA North Regional Beer Competition.

Wild Swan 3.5 Thornbridge Brewery

Wild Swan is white gold in colour and pours with a pure white head. It has aromas of light bitter lemon with a hint of herb and subtle spiciness. Light bodied and easy drinking the flavours are crisp and dry with a lingering citrus, hoppy finish.
