The cross cultural popularity of Indian food in Britain has created an indelible reminisce of taste and aroma of dishes that evolved over centuries and are prepared with carefully selected spices and complex recipes that go back many, many years. Unfortunately today the concept of Indian cuisine is a mere synonym for Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma. Its originality and uniqueness has become a myth. The management of Coriander Lounge opened this restaurant to try and restore the lost primordial authenticity of Indian Cuisine that shares the same ancient traditional cooking techniques and ingredients that made this food so brilliantly different and exceedingly delicious.
