White Hart

A pub serving food in Hook.

Paul and the team welcome you to the White Hart, The White Hart is very much a 17th century traditional pub, retaining oak beams, brick fireplaces and many reminders of days gone by. We are open all day, offering a very warm welcome, great pub dining, and award winning ales, wines and soft drinks. Coachman's corner is a real favourite, an area to relax, unwind and enjoy a drink and conversation with friends by the open log fire. A delightful place for tourists and walkers to dry off in the winter. Our restaurant offers great pub dining with full waitress service throughout serving freshly prepared food with speciality fish dishes all cooked to order.

Drink % Brewery
Golden Best 3.4 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The last of the true Pennine light milds. A crisp, amber coloured beer that makes a refreshing session ale. The smooth and creamy flavour makes it a popular choice close to the brewery, and increasingly in destination pubs across the country.

Tasting Notes: A light mild with a delicate balance of subtle flavours. An easy drinking beer with light floral notes and a smooth, creamy body.

London Pride 4.1 Fuller's Brewery

In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.

Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale 4.0 Sharp's Brewery Ltd

Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implore the drinker to go back for more.” Stuart Howe, Head Brewer.
