A brewery in Faversham.
We're a microbrewery situated in the heart of Kentish brewing. We lovingly make our ales by hand, choosing fresh ingredients by pioneering malt and hop merchants. Our priority is to utilise UK grown ingredients, but we do stray from the pack from time to time to experiment with other styles.

Educated Guess has a split season. A brief venture out in the summer as a balance against a flood of pale ales and a re-appearance late in the Autumn and Early Winter.
Tasting Notes: Dark and full bodied, balanced with Bramling Cross, East Kent Goldings and Cascade hops.
An Elder flower infused, summer pale ale.
Tasting Notes: Cascade hops and caramel malts blend with the Elder flower to create an easy drinking, floral, balanced ale. Not too bitter, nor too sweet and with plenty of oomph from a 4.5% abv.
A Golden ale with a noticeable delicious peppery hop aroma.
Tasting Notes: The Golden colour derives from Amber Malt.
Roasted Barley, Black patent malt, Chocolate Malt, Crystal, Oats. Lightly balanced hops. This is a well-rounded Jet Black Stout.
Tasting Notes: Dark malts lend a dry bitterness to stouts, with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. They chose Bramling Cross hops for their dark fruit flavours, but used them sparingly, only enough to balance, and no more. Oats are added to the mash to increase the body and smooth down the mouthfeel. A proper full bodied stout with a complex flavour.
Black mild. A naughty little number blending Dark Crystal and Chocolate Malts. Darker than a normal bitter but lighter hearted than a dark and brooding stout.
Tasting Notes: Fruits of the forest flavours
This is a full bodied pale ale, with plenty of smooth bittering from Bodicea Hops and an up front aroma from Kents world renowned East Kent Goldings Hops.
A light coloured beer made with a single very pale malt.
Tasting Notes: Noticeably citrus hop aroma. Great alternative to Lager. Chills nicely.
Wild West Cluster and Tomahawk hops produce a fruity balanced refreshingly light beer.
Tasting Notes: Pow Wow Session Pale Ale 3.6 %. brewed to be enjoyed for all those long mystical gatherings.
Chestnut Brown bitter noticeably, but not overpoweringly, malty. A bit fruity and nutty too.
Tasting Notes: Fruity, nutty
A dark ruby red ale that is full of smooth malty flavours. Balanced with Bramling Cross to give subtle 'fruits of the forest' aromas. A great dark session ale.
Tasting Notes: Smooth maltiness, hints of dark chocolate and toffee. It is well balanced with English hops to give an easy drinking, full flavoured dark ale.
A Special Relationship of British and American Hops have joined forces to produce an Alliance of Strength.
Tasting Notes: A hoppy, fruity and spicy ale

Let us guide you to a delicious Shining Light Ale. The Followed Star hangs in the firmament promising a touch of citrus pleasure. Simple but effective. A very pale ale made with pilsner lager malt, lighlty hopped to give a slight lemon citrus twist. Refreshing and moreish.
Tasting Notes: Hoppy bitterness
