Positioned along Zetland Street, situated between the nearby University and the largest town centre in the UK, Varsity Huddersfield is a thriving bar that has seen the stretch and surrounding area of Huddersfield gradually build up around itself. The bar's clientele ranges from a balanced mix of employees socialising after working hours to local students out to have a good time with their friends. The cosy carpeted downstairs area is ideal for a relaxed lunch and chat with friends, or to plug in your laptop and do some hard studying! We are also open from 10am during the week for that much needed pre-lecture caffeine fix, and some great breakfast deals.

Spread over three floors, our customers are never deprived of space to sit and eat, chat and socialise – with a wide range of seating available to cater for large groups or intimate sofas for couples. We have ample seating in good view of our two massive projector screens and a VIP area with a plasma tv right next to the bar. All screens show Sky Sports and all LIVE matches from the Premiership, Champions League and Super League. We have TWO Sky boxes, so we can show what you want, when you want it! We are one of the only bars in Huddersfield Town Centre that offers a pool table as well as an outdoor beer garden with retractable umbrellas and heaters if needed!

The food at Varsity definitely surpasses others and we pride ourselves on our food service. The menu encompasses a vast range of options varying from carefully selected vegetarian dishes to delicious Varsity Burgers and Melts. So, whether you're a pint and a juicy burger person or a glass of wine and a well prepared fresh healthy salad person, with Varsity Huddersfield you're in capable hands. The service is fast, efficient and brought to your table with a smile. We also offer FREE WiFi with plenty of power sockets, a huge selection of popular music to cater for varied tastes, as well as Sky Sports News continually broadcast on our screens.

We have various extremely popular specialty nights throughout the week and our Saturday nights have a great atmosphere, helped along by a DJ playing all the latest tunes and requests till 2am!
