Tasting Notes: He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness, and added a touch of coriander to provide balance. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. A rich, full bodied best bitter in the traditional Kent style.

Tasting Notes: Finest Maris Otter pale ale malt and crystal malt for colour and richness. Hopped with local Kent Northdown and Finchcocks’ Whitbread Golding Variety and finished in the Hop Rocket with Progress hops from Scotney Castle and Goldings from Finchcocks hop garden for a full flavour and aroma. Also available in bottles.

In the mouth the beer feels succulent and despite its lower gravity delivers a good measure of hoppy bitterness. This is complemented by a light, almost honeyed malty sweetness. Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. Bulmers Original Cider at 4.5% ABV offers a fantastic combination of softer culinary apples and sharper bittersweet apples, providing a cider rich in depth and character.
