The Grade II listed, newly refurbished Pump House is a relaxed and friendly venue - the perfect place for a pint with an excellent selection of dishes including Chef's freshly prepared seasonal Specials.

This beer is dark, strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Golding’s hops and natural plum flavouring. Tasting Notes: Well-rounded porter with fruity, sweet notes over a backdrop of hoppy flavour. Deep red in colour but not in taste, the plum lightens the deepness on the palate.

The legendary American jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker was nicknamed ‘Bird’ – short for ‘Yardbird’ – and this pale ale celebrates his pioneering spirit of invention and improvisation. Tasting Notes: Full of hops and with a lasting fruity flavour, this beer is inspired by bold American pale ales.
