We are situated a short walk from the beach front, Southport Pier and boating lakes and also the Casino on the promenade. So if you fancy going somewhere with something for everyone from a nice walk along the front to bird watching as well as the more traditional seaside attractions you’re sure to find something to keep you entertained all year round. Our large front beer patio is a fabulous spot to enjoy a pint and the seaside air. We have a variety of Cask ales and quality lagers as well as our menu offering a variety of freshly prepared dishes. Lancaster Bomber 4.4 Daniel Thwaites

Best of British! This double award winning extra special Bitter is named after the WWII airplanes that made the famous Dam buster raids.

Tasting Notes: Brewed using pale ale and crystal malts for a rich full-bodied bitter flavour with biscuit and fruit malt aromas. The finely balanced hop character is enriched by the late addition of Styrian Goldings as a dry hop in each cask to give a more prominent floral hop aroma and warming aftertaste.
TBC 3.8 Daniel Thwaites

Brewed with Maris Otter and Caramalt, this gives subtle caramel, biscuit sweetness and a golden amber colour.

Tasting Notes: Balanced by the well-rounded bitterness of the challenger hops added on the boil producing a full, refreshing, crisp bitter pallet.
Wainwright 4.1 Wainwright

An exquisitely, golden ale, named after Alfred Wainwright, the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn.

Tasting Notes: Wainwright is a refreshing golden ale with subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malts and the special mix of hops give a delicate citrus fruit overtone. Voted World’s Best Golden Ale at the World Beer Awards.
