A child friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Bury St Edmunds.

The Dog and Partridge was purchased on 29th October 1870 by Mr Edward Greene. King and Greene's Brewery merged in 1887 and the pub became part of the Greene King estate. It is only a short walk from the Greene King brewery and museum, as well as Bury St Edmunds cathedral and the famous Abbey gardens.

Catering for families, office workers, tourists and locals with a warm and friendly welcome. A delicious menu is available all day every day.

The legendary American jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker was nicknamed ‘Bird’ – short for ‘Yardbird’ – and this pale ale celebrates his pioneering spirit of invention and improvisation.
