Our pub is a hidden gem in the picturesque village of Charlwood, close to the Norman church of St Nicholas c. 1080. It is very popular with both locals and commuters from Gatwick airport, however, you would never guess that - the pub and village are quiet and peaceful!
The pub is a traditional old english pub with lots of character serving a wide variety of locally sourced traditional homecooked food at a reasonable price. We have a comfortable dining area and two welcoming bars with friendly staff. Three real ales are on tap, Doombar and Tribute with a third guest ale that changes regularly. We have a good variety of wines, spirits, lagers, ciders and non alchoholic drinks.
We have a reasonably good sized beer garden to the side of the pub that is mostly paved but has a grassed section to the rear. It is a fantastic place to chill out in the summer and enjoy the sun!
We welcome dogs into the bar and garden area but not into the restaurant.
