A great friendly pub with a great atmosphere.
There are times of the day when you can have a quiet drink in the corner or other times when you can savour the atmosphere when your team wins the match!
We have a large bar area with seating or an equally large outdoor "decking" area if the weather holds.

This premium cask ale has a strong following throughout the country. Courage Directors was originally brewed exclusively for the Directors of the Alton brewery, but following public demand, the beer was made available to the public. Tasting Notes: It is genuine premium beer, pale brown in appearance with a deep rich taste.

The authentic taste of London. First brewed in Wandsworth in 1864, Young's London Original is our original pale ale. Refreshing with a fruity aroma and long satisfying bitter finish. Take a London classic head on. Tasting Notes:
	Sussex Best Bitter	4.0	Harvey's Brewery
Our most famous and popular brand - it makes up over 90% of our total brewing capacity. Winner of the Champion Best Bitter of Britain title at CAMRA's Great British Beers Festival in 2005 and 2006. First brewed as recently as 1955. Tasting Notes: A superbly balanced session bitter with a prominent hop character.
	Tribute	4.2	St Austell Brewery
Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale. Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event.
