The Kings Head

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with Sky TV and WiFi and a garden in Aylesbury.

The Kings Head is a beautiful country pub and restaurant set in the delightful
village of Haddenham just 5 miles from Aylesbury.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits all who visit us. We offer several menus including a bar and lunch option, a full restaurant menu, a great Children’s menu and a specials board that changes frequently.

Inside we have two large screens showing Sky Sports which allow us to show two separate programmes at once so you need never miss that important game. We have a large beer garden with plenty of seating for those sunny days. We have real ales which change regularly and a fantastic wine list.

The menus suit all tastes and appetites and change regularly to keep customers returning time and time again.

This pub was originally a Tap Room dating back to the 14th Century and is steeped in history. In the 17th Century the building was badly damaged by fire when a lay preacher left a candle burning and headed off to church.

A blazing open fire awaits visitors in the winter months and the warm welcome and comfortable decor makes it hard to leave.

We are the ideal venue for christenings, birthday parties, anniversaries, retirements,
work events and all kind of celebrations. Just ring and leave the rest to us.

Drink % Brewery
Heineken 5.0 Heineken

Brewing beer is a 100% natural process. Heineken beer is made from the purest ingredients.

Tasting Notes: The resin from the female hop flower cones is used to help balance the sweetness of the barley with a refreshing bitterness.

Neck Oil 4.3 Beavertown Brewery

Our all day, everyday, session drinking IPA. A blend of 7 American & Austrian hops, pineapple and orange citrus aroma, Passion fruit & grapefruit flavour with a refreshing, dry, crisp finish.

Tasting Notes:

Amstel 4.1 Heineken

Our classic, golden Amstel Beer, with its very distinctive and mildly bitter taste, has over the years become well known beyond the borders of its native country.

Tasting Notes:

Guinness Draught 4.2 Guinness

One of the world's best-loved beers, with sweet smelling aromas of coffee and malt, from the first velvety sip to the last, lingering drop, every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between is pure beauty… pure Guinness.

Tasting Notes: Unmistakeably GUINNESS®, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop and every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.

Cruzcampo 4.4 Heineken

Cruzcampo is a pilsner style Spanish lager founded in Seville in 1904. Brewed with subtle hoppy notes, fruity characteristics and finished with Cruzcampo bitterness. It’s a fresh, crisp, easy drinking beer and a favourite amongst Spanish locals.

Tasting Notes:

Birra Moretti 4.6 Heineken

The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note.

Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.

Butcombe Original 4.0 Butcombe Brewing Co.

The beer that changed everything. The first brew they perfected, the beer that made their name with its distinctive bitter, clean and refreshingly dry flavour.

Tasting Notes: Made with only the best Maris Otter malt blended with a variety of English hops, Butcombe Original is the classic session beer.

London Pride 4.1 Fuller's Brewery

In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad.

Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

Heineken Zero 0 Heineken

A refreshing alcohol free beer, characterised by fruity and fresh malt notes and light bodied. At just 69 calories this is a great refreshing drink for all.

Tasting Notes:

Inch's 4.5 Heineken

Inch's believe that cider making is about all the little things, that finishing touch of care or that extra moment of attention. Not going that extra mile, but going that extra Inch.
