The Boathouse Inn

A child friendly bar serving food in Shipley.

Wonderfully situated on the beautiful banks of the River Aire in picturesque Saltaire, the original boathouse was built in 1871. It was later converted into a pub, but by early in the new millennium the building was abandoned and derelict. The present owners undertook a complete refurbishment in 2009, retaining the historical exterior features but transforming the interior into a beautifully designed and comfortable modern inn.

Golden Best 3.4 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The last of the true Pennine light milds. A crisp, amber coloured beer that makes a refreshing session ale. The smooth and creamy flavour makes it a popular choice close to the brewery, and increasingly in destination pubs across the country.

Tasting Notes: A light mild with a delicate balance of subtle flavours. An easy drinking beer with light floral notes and a smooth, creamy body.

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.

Saltaire Blonde 4.0 Saltaire Brewery Ltd

A straw coloured lager ale with creamy, soft malt flavours, delicately hopped with Czech and German hop varieties for modest bitterness and slight spice flavour.
