The Brass Monkey offers a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, whatever time of day you choose to join us, whether you’re just looking for a spot of lunch or a full evening meal we have with some of the best value offers anywhere on the high street, including two meals for £8.45, beer and a burger deals and a full range of snacks and sandwiches, remember we are a family friendly bar and our kids eat free promotion attracts a great range or customers. If you’re just looking for a rest while shopping or want somewhere to start before a big night out, come and join us! With ten traditional hand-pulls on the bar, we offer two house ales, along with local and national favourites and two hand-pull ciders, making it a haven for real-ale-lovers. The Brass Monkey has recently launched a weekly line-up of great events, including Curry Club every Wednesday and Grill Night every Saturday. The evening line-up consists of two great student night "Spank the Monkey” £1.95 drinks on Wednesdays and TNT our £1-a-pint with live music on Thursdays (during uni term times). Friday nights bring you drinks from £1.95 and our ever popular karaoke, on Saturday we bring you some of the South West best established and up and coming bands playing live, making us one of Plymouth best starting venues and one of the best place to listen live music. In recent years its popularity has grown to the extent that it is now Britain’s leading premium ale: a welcome fixture in many pubs and off licences around the country, and now winning new friends abroad. Tasting Notes: Rich, smooth and elegant on the palate, it draws to a clean, satisfying finish with beautifully balanced bitterness.

Tribute is an easy drinking pale ale. Tasting Notes: Fresh, Orange, Grapefruit The zesty orange and grapefruit flavours are balanced with biscuit malt. The beer of South West sport, Tribute has high profile shirt sponsorships with Somerset and Gloucester CCCs as well as close relationships with both Football League clubs Plymouth and Exeter City. Tribute is also the Official Beer of South West Rugby and supports many rugby teams in the region with shirt sponsorships, plus it is the main sponsor of the Cornwall RFU whose teams are the current County Champions and holders of the Bill Beaumont Cup. We were also thrilled in 2015 for Tribute to be the main sponsor of Bristol Balloon Fiesta and in 2016 Tribute will again be a high profile partner of this wonderful event.
