Black Dog 3.6 Elgood Brewery

An award-winning cask conditioned traditional dark mild. Well balanced malt and hops gives a pleasant aroma and taste, with splendid roasted bitter flavours.

Tasting Notes: Black Dog is a traditional dark mild at 3.6%ABV. It has many CAMRA awards to its name and is a well-known brand in the free-trade. The beer is well balanced with a full roast flavour. The use of crystal malt and roast barley give a deep underlying characteristic flavour, which is balanced with Fuggles hops as the sole variety.

Captain Smiths 5.2 Titanic Brewery Co Ltd

A strong, dark ale which is malty and spicy on the palate

Tasting Notes: A red/brown, full bodied beer hoppy and bitter with a sweetness and roast malt flavour and a good strong finish. Named after one of the most famous sea captains of all time, capt. Edward Smith, who was born in Stoke on trent.

Castle Rock Harvest Pale 3.8 Castle Rock Brewery

Described by esteemed beer writer Roger Protz as… “The finest blonde beer I’ve drunk in many a year”

Tasting Notes: Harvest Pale is brewed with a gently-kilned malt, and an aromatic blend of American hops added during the brewing process gives this 3.8% alc pale beer exceptional poise. Its distinct hop flavour leads to a crisp finish. Harvest Pale has firmly established itself as Castle Rock’s Flagship Beer. SIBA National Champion Bitter 2004, Champion Bitter of Britain 2007 and Champion Beer of Britain 2010.

Courage Best Bitter 4.0 The Eagle Brewery

Tasting Notes: Sight: Copper Aroma: Hoppy, Fruity, Sweet Taste: Bitter, Fruity Palate

Yorkshire Square Ale 4.1 Black Sheep Brewery Plc

Originally brewed in 1999, Yorkshire Square Ale is made with Maris Otter malt, Demerara sugar and a blend of Golding hops. The lower alcohol content means it’s not only a premium pint, but also a great tasting, full flavoured, session ale!

Tasting Notes: Demerara sugar and WVG hops gives a clean, malty sweetness with a hint of fruit and a long bitter finish. A characteristic and refreshing ale.
