The Dorset Arms Pub is named after the Earls and Dukes of Dorset, heads of the Sackville family whose principal seat is the surrounding Buckhurst Estate which remains the property of the Sackville family now headed by The Earl De La Warr. Our philosophy & objectives are to create a vibrant family friendly pub serving excellent traditional pub food and Harveys beers with guest beers alongside; To include on the menu, Withyham Estate produce and exceptional food from other local suppliers; To encourage use of the pub by local groups such as the cricket club, art group and horticultural society; To create a greater connection and focal point for the immediate community.
